Tour Stop: Spain
Casa Batlló
For work I was fortunate enough to go to Spain. We had two shows in Barcelona and Madrid! It was beyond amazing to be in a stadium where the Olympics had been in Barcelona. The stadium in Madrid was cool too, but considering it is the second oldest stadium(until the one in Valinca gets torn down) and has no elevators, it got a little tiring.
I got to sight see a bit in Barcelona and learned about the architect Gaudi. It seemed like he was responsible for anything that made my jaw drop in a, holy cow that is gorgeous I can't stop looking at all the details, sort of way. The Sagrada Familia Church and Casa Batlló were just so stunning and not of the photos I captured do either much justice.
tint de verano
We walked La Rambla, stoping for tinto de verano, which is sort of like sangria.
The last really stunning thing I did was go to Montserrat! A group of us bravely boarded the Aeri de Montserrat cable car and went to the top of a mountain to the monastery. It is certainly breathtaking to see the view from there.
In Madrid I didn't do so much sight seeing, but we walked a bit through Retiro Park, and has amazing tapas one night. Madrid was beyond hot so I don't feel very disappoint in my lack of exploration there.
I took photos until my camera died(and I forgot my charger) and then I switched to my phone and borrowing someone elses camera! Check them out!
Let us backtrack for a moment. On my way to Spain I exchanged money for the first time! Before I left I learned all about charging adapters.
I can't wait to tell you guys about my next adventure!
