Tour Stop: DENVER to NOLA
As the tour for quarter one pushes on the weather does as well. Working in live events you learn that nothing is predictable. There was ice that prevented me from going home between Denver and New Orleans. I was rather excited to go to both of these cities to see what they were like, as I had never been to either of them.
Denver was pretty hip and the graffiti there was pretty stunning. It is definitely a creative hub. The building we worked in was equally as stunning and had a lot of bells and whistles. I got to play with intelligent lighting which is always a favorite of mine. I would probably go visit here again to explore a bit more.
Bourbon St. NEW ORLEANS
After we wrapped up in Denver, I arrived in New Orleans that Monday. I got to do some exploring and check out our building pretty early in the game. It is a great place and should be called the city that never sleeps, it is more active than my beloved NYC. It has gorgeous architecture you could spend a good while getting lost looking at. Fun Fact even the Superdome was well designed with each seat, in the upper levels, a different color than the one next to it providing the illusion of a full house even when some are empty.
National Anthem Look
DENVER
As amazing as the two weeks were, seeing places I have never been and working with our awesome team, nothing felt as good as getting to go home and see my Penelope.
Next stop Tucson, AZ.
